Who says letter campaigns don't work? I think the folks at Disney got tired of being buried in snail mail and email and decided the only way they were going to get any work done was to give in.
"Disney Channel has granted the wishes of devout Kim Possible fans and has resurrected the show. According to a Reuters report, Kim Possible has been greenlit for a fourth season by Disney Channel. Disney has stated that the revival was spurred in large part due to the clamors of a very active fanbase to keep the show going."
It's almost hard to believe. This show was so dead. No chance. Everyone had gone on to other work.
From Kim herself, Christy Carlson Romano:
"I couldn't be happier today. My agent emailed me and told me Kim Possible had 22 episodes ordered officially. That's great new for everyone, I think! I heard rumors of it being picked up but that was hearsay. I am so happy that Kim Possible has made such a big impact on it's fans. Thanks for all the support. Here's to a long awaited new season filled with action, adventure and naked mole rats!"
From Kim director Steve Loter:
"Well, that was a very hard secret to keep. Kim Possible Season Four has been green-lit. 22 Episodes. Mark and Bob are back. I'm back. It's going to be very very good."
