For the next five days I will be at The Weymouth Center for the Arts, finishing my writer's residency for 2005.
Weymouth from the front
I'll be doing a lot of cleanup, working on the book summary, composing query letters and such.
In a couple of weeks the book goes to the "first readers", then editing, and then "second readers", and then we'll see...
In January I take the outlines for the second two books in the series and work on getting them done a LOT faster than this first one.
The Writer's Library and my Powerbook
Weymouth is a huge house with lots of tours and weddings and other things. While I am at Weymouth they will celebrate Christmas with an open house, caroling and tours of Weymouth in it's Christmas splendor.
The writer's quarters aren't on the tours and most people never see them. The above picture is in the library where I sometimes work. I'll try to get some Christmas pics to post sometime this week.
