So You Wanna Be a Hero Part 5
While watching "Who Wants to be a Superhero?" I had to wonder, who are these people and why are they running around in tights?
Clockwise - Tonya Kay, Tonatzin Mondragon, Imatoy, Mary Votava
A little bit of research finds that a few of them have pretty professional websites and are accomplished entertainers.
All of them have some kind of website, though a few of them are very poorly designed MySpace sites.
The best site of the bunch belongs to Tonya Kay, aka Creature. Tonya is a very interesting performer. She is the type of performer you might see in Cirque Du Soleil. Energetic, edgy and a little dangerous.
Tonya has a high-end Flash site with a forum, gallery and an extensive bio.
Creature was my youngest son's favorite super hero so before sending him to her page I checked it out pretty well. One slight warning to those who have kids that watch the show. Tonya has some artisitic nudes in her professional gallery. Though tastefully done, they might be a bit much for your average nine year old.
Mary Votova, aka Monkey Woman, has another nice site. Not quite as extensive as Tonya's, but still well done. Mary took criticism on the show for hiding she was an actor. In truth what hurt her was giving up her secret identity without being asked and then telling the guy how to get on a reality TV show. Oops.
For the action figure fans, Tobias Trost, aka Levity, makes custom action figures. Tobias designs the character, then it appears he kitbashes the bodies from various figures and sculpts the heads. Lastly he paints them and sells the final figure for three hundred bucks. I'm more of a one-sixth person, but check 'em out.
Here are some other sites in case you need to feed your curiosity.

What a well observed and simple, but intelligent and specific comment on my website. Thank you for showing us your open mindedness and support.
