Another sugary confection is a Record of the Week mid-week bonus.
Once again thanks to Lunchbox Records. This gem comes from the collection of 7" vinyl in the amazing store known as Lunchbox Records.
I knew nothing about Cotton Candy, so this record was a complete shot in the dark. Cotton Candy is Mark Robinson (from the bands Unrest, Air Miami, Grenadine, Flin Flon) and Evelyn Hurley (Blast Off Country Style).
I have to admit after the first few seconds I was thinking "What the Hell", but I got into the spirit of the recording pretty quickly. This is a quirkly and catchy slice of electronic pop. It's also a lot of fun, but nothing serious here. If you like your bubblegum a little offbeat I recommend giving this a listen. My favorite part just might be the mock radio spots.

Oh yeah, the record is a cool clear orange vinyl. I don't see that one often.
