Debbie Gibson - Rich Girl

On December 1st, 2010, Deborah Gibson performed a StageIT concert from her living room. Not sure why I never posted this here, I did put it on Twitter back in December, so here it is now.

Her concert was a very impromptu mix of songs, and very fun and casual.

Toward the end she was taking requests and I typed in Rich Girl. I'm a big fan of Daryl Hall and John Oates and I knew Deborah had also recorded the song.

She saw my request and played this snippet of the song, injecting some humor toward the end.

Overall the StageIT concert was a huge success and I hope she does another one.

Deborah Gibson sings Rich Girl - Live from Her Living Room

Deborah Gibson performed from her living room via the StageIt website on December 1st.

During the show she played all kinds of songs from the hits you are familiar with, to deep cuts only the diehard Deborah fans would know. She even took random requests.

I requested Rich Girl because I know she's recorded it, and I'm a Hall and Oates fan. It seemed to fit the fun tone of the show. After you view the video, I think you'll agree.

This was a very unique and "raw" live experience. Lots of talking to the audience and a very informal feel, almost as if you were sitting there in the room with her.

StageIt is a great concept, I highly recommend you check them out.
